“The medical opinion we received from your private physician was more persuasive than the VA examiner’s opinion because it was based on a thorough review of your relevant military and /or personal history and contained a more convincing rationale and conclusions that were better supported. (38 CFR 4.6)”.

This is a direct quote from the Ruling Officer regarding an appeal case I handled. The original denial was overturned and the veteran received his disability. I have done the same for hundreds of veterans. I can do the same for you!

Hearing Loss & Tinnitus

The leading cause of Hearing Loss and Tinnitus is Noise. Our Military personnel are exposed to noise of all types – from gunfire, tanks, blasts, generators, to name a few sources – on a daily basis, many times without any hearing protection.

Currently there are over 3 million veterans receiving compensation for hearing loss or tinnitus. . Many veterans with noise exposure may have normal hearing levels, but have difficulty understanding speech, especially in environments where there is background noise.

The Nexus Letter

ONCE we determine if your hearing loss and tinnitus are service connected, we write the NEXUS Letter. A Nexus Letter is an evidence-based document prepared by a private medical professional that helps to establish a link or connection (“Nexus”) between the veteran’s current disability and their active duty military service.
